Analytics
This site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use it — pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, and anonymized session recordings — via cookies and similar technologies. Text you type into inputs is masked by default. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server request logs.
Bot protection
The chat is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which verifies you're human without showing a challenge. Turnstile's data handling is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
The chat
Messages you send to the chat are passed to a third-party AI provider to generate replies. Conversations (questions and responses) are logged along with IP address, approximate location, and browser type, for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and understanding what visitors are interested in. Those logs are kept indefinitely on hardware Nikhil owns and operates, are backed up privately, and are not sold or shared. They aren't used to train models. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat.
The same applies to questions asked through the ask-nikhil MCP endpoint, which routes to the same backend and is logged the same way.
Search & AI crawlers
The public pages of this site are open to search engines and AI crawlers by design — the point is to be findable. The chat API is excluded from crawling, and conversations are never published or made crawlable.
